One of my favorite features of the Venustas Heated Jacket is its detachable, helmet-compatible hood. This makes the skier in me very happy because it allows me to keep warm without compromising my safety!
When I went cross-country skiing while wearing the Venustas Heated Jacket, I was able to layer a beanie underneath my helmet and still have room to pull up the jacket hood without friction or resistance. Two thumbs up from me!
If you’re not doing an activity that requires a helmet or hood, you can easily take the hood off and store it separately. It folds down pretty compactly and you could even fit it in your backpack or jacket pocket!

The zippered sleeve pocket is super convenient for stashing your ski pass and ID while you’re out hitting the slopes.
The soft interior lining of the hand pockets also feels great and keeps your hands protected from the elements. I felt like there were more than enough pockets to store my phone, wallet, ski pass, keys, sunglasses, vlog camera, and even snacks!
